Development status of fine chemical enterprises

Analysis of supply of fine chemical products

The “12th Five-Year Plan” issued by the state stated that by 2015, the domestic fine chemical self-sufficiency rate needs to reach more than 80%, and as far as the current fine chemical industry self-sufficiency rate is concerned, a large amount of capital and technology investment are still required. Due to technical and other reasons, domestic progress in the new field of fine chemicals and new chemical materials has lagged slightly. The self-sufficiency rate for fine chemicals in new domestic areas is 70% -75%, and the self-sufficiency rate for electronic chemicals and other fields is less than 50%. In terms of new chemical materials, the self-sufficiency rate in China is only 55% -60% between. In these high-tech fields, the more high-end and important products, the lower the domestic self-sufficiency rate.

Not only that, the structure of China's fine chemical products is not very reasonable. In addition, the market for some environmentally friendly products is still in the early stages of development. Because China has not yet imposed an environmental tax on non-biodegradable ordinary plastics. Compared with traditional plastics, degradable plastics have a higher cost of use, and the market for degradable plastics is still in the early stages of development. As a developing country, the ODS alternatives currently used in China are still mainly HCFCs that have less damage to the ozone layer. In the future, it is necessary to gradually replace it with HFC which has no destructive effect on the ozone layer.

Fine chemical industry outlook forecast

As more and more multinational companies invest in and build factories in China, the continuous expansion of the scale and the introduction of advanced preparation technology will inevitably bring about a continuous increase in the supply of China's fine chemical market.

According to statistics, in 2015, the total industrial output value of China's fine chemical industry was about 37021 billion yuan, an increase of about 10% compared with 2014.
